The Associated Press All-America team for the FCS was announced yesterday and no Ivy Leaguers were named to the three teams, although Dartmouth did face two players who were recognized.
New Hampshire running back/returner Dylan Laube was named the all-purpose player on the first team and UNH teammate Max Brosmer was named the second-team quarterback.
Old friend Holy Cross had no fewer than five players named over the three teams.
Green Alert Take: Rest assured, there will be Ivy Leaguers honored when Phil Steele's phone book-sized All-America team is revealed.
Green Alert Take II: A phone book, kids, was a fat, magazine-sized booklet listing everyone's phone number that used to come in the mail.
Green Alert Take III: Sorry kids. A magazine is a . . . never mind.

EXTRA POINT
While there's plenty of snow on my hiking trail the weekend rain washed most of it off our field. I was going to wait to take this shot until it snowed again, but the light was so beautiful on Moosilauke that I couldn't help myself. This is the 7-foot lighted start set by itself, well back in our field.
