Football isn't the only Dartmouth sport making noise. The No. 17 men's ice hockey team improved to 5-0 last night with a 4-3 win over No. 6 Cornell in front of 2,801 fans at Thompson Arena. (LINK) That comes a week after the Big Green scored a 4-2 win at No. 15 Quinnipiac. Check out Dartmouth-Cornell ice hockey highlights HERE.

EXTRA POINT
Since last winter we've had a bird feeder that sends quick video clips of all of our feathered visitors. Pretty cool stuff. 

With bears (supposedly) headed into hibernation we recently broke out our less-techie, wooden bird feeder for the other side of our house. I filled both feeders to the brim one morning earlier this week

So what happened?

They were both empty the very next day, and no, we didn't have a visit from a bear. As the video feeder showed with all of the "notifications" of visitors, we're being overrun (overflown?) by birds.

Sorry to say, but I think I'm going to have to take down the non-video feeder. At the rate the birds have been going through seed, pretty soon it was going to cost more to feed them than to feed Griff the Wonder Dog and change that lonely little graphic up there on the top right corner of this page.
