Last night's BGA Overtime "Six Pack" had a brief mention that the Ivy League presidents will be voting in December on potentially rescinding the playoff ban for their football teams. (Don't hold your breath.) There are thoughts about who would represent the Ivy League if just one of this year's tri-champions could go on to the postseason, and why. (LINK)

Somehow Washington is listed as co-defensive player of the week with Yale's Abu Kamara and also on the honor roll, where he is joined by Big Green kicker Owen Zalc. (LINK)

It is my guess that most college football fans missed the best story of the weekend. Oh,sure, two of the sport's remaining unbeaten teams — Army and Indiana — were beatenhandily, leaving Oregon as the nation's only team without a loss. Alabama lost for anunheard-of third time. Penn State escaped Minnesota by a point to keep its playoff hopesintact. All important stories. But none compared with this . . .
The headline, of course, gives the story away: Columbia's Ivy League football title was 63 years in the making. Find the full Post story HERE.

Did I mention I'm giving up trying to keep track of Dartmouth and Ivy League players entering the portal as grad transfers? There are just too many. (Prominent undergrads moving on are a different story.)
If you are interested to see which graduating seniors are hoping to continue playing and what offers they receive, you can find a lot of that information HERE. All I'll add at this point is graduating Big Green running back Q Jones appears to be getting a lot of attention from mid-level FCS schools, and Brown corner Isaiah Reed is reeling in his share of FBS offers.

EXTRA POINT
It's a dull and gray morning here today, but yesterday an unexpectedly brilliant blue sky set off the view of snowy Mount Moosilauke as seen through the windows here at the BGA World Headquarters:
