A case can be made (and I'm guilty of making it) that Dartmouth might have been shortchanged earlier this year when it came to the Ivy weekly awards. The Big Green made up for lost time this week with Tom Bennewitz being named the Ivy offensive player of the week, Timmy McManus being named rookie of the week and Dan Cook and Brian Evans being named to the honor roll. ... Truth be told, Evans was probably a tossup with Bennewitz for player of the week and would have claimed the top honor in another week.
