Not Done Yet

It's almost like whack-a-mole. One graduating Dartmouth player announces his grad transfer destination (Micah Green to St. Thomas) and another one pops up.

Corner Zach Farris (bio) had 37 tackles last fall, with a season-high eight at Penn and again the next week at Yale. He had an interception against Fordham and another against Columbia.

By my count, nine graduating members of this year's senior class announced they are grad transferring to FBS schools and at least three more . . . so far . . . intend to continue their careers at the FCS level. And that's not counting several members of the Class of 2024 who are still playing or hoping to play this fall.

Like equestrian, women's rugby isn't an NCAA sanctioned sport like soccer, basketball, gymnastics or lacrosse, but another national championship is another national championship.

EXTRA POINT

With a muddy Kentucky Derby in the books I now commend to you, as I do each year, one of the best sports stories you'll ever come across. Click HERE to read William Nack's wonderful opus to the great champion, Secretariat. And if you already read it, trust me, it's worth reading again. Editor's Note: Have a tissue handy by the time you get to the end.
