Former Assistant Takes High School Job

Don Farnham, one of Buddy Teevens' part-time/full-time assistants in his first go-around in Hanover, is returning as head coach of a Maine high school football program according to a story in the Bangor News. ... When former Dartmouth Sports Information Director Jack DeGange saw a familiar name in a news story the other day he tipped me off as to what Bob Peters, co-captain of the undefeated and nationally ranked 1970 team, is doing these days. It turns out Bob is the president of Morality in Media, Inc., "a nonprofit, interfaith organization founded in New York City in 1962 to combat obscenity and uphold standards of decency in the media." To read a little about Bob, click here. ... We received 3-4 inches of snow up here on the shoulder of Moose Mountain yesterday. It is unbelievably pretty right now with Carolina (Columbia?) blue skies, puffy white clouds and every branch of every tree covered with snow. A couple of hundred feet lower: not a hint of snow. Ah, spring in New England!
