Cornell Preview

The turf is down just about the full length of the field. The "infill" still as to be added and the end zones, sidelines, yard numbers and block D in the middle of the field all have to be completed. Click on the photo to get a better look.

Look closely and you'll see temporary fencing being installed yesterday at the top of the modified east bleachers. Code concerns may keep the bleachers from being completely used this fall but they will be available.
This gives a sense of how the new building will hover above the east stands.

Cornell Preview Posted The Big Red led the Ivy League last year in total defense (yards allowed), rushing defense and rushing offense while finishing second in scoring defense and pass defense. All that and it finished fourth in the league. Coach Jim Knowles, whose surprising audible to an option offense last year won him kudos around the league, said at media day this week that he learned something last year: All the impressive statistics you pile up don't mean a thing if they aren't accompanied by wins.
