All-Dartmouth Defensive Offensive Team Unveiled Later Today

From the Yale Daily News: "The New Haven Police Department has confirmed the names of five Yale varsity football and hockey players who were arrested early Saturday morning after a fight broke out in front of Gourmet Heaven." Among those named: the Bulldogs' starting quarterback and star tailback.

10 a.m. update

Later today the unofficial 50th anniversary All-Dartmouth defensive offensive team will be posted on Green Alert, freely available to everyone. Be sure to check it out.

The New Haven Register's Sean Barker spoke with Buddy Teevens and has this story up today.

Should have mentioned this in last night's practice story, but the Big Green went through its paces yesterday in an off-and-on drizzle on Chase Field. The plan was to be on the more dependable turf at Memorial Field, but it was unavailable as work on the field/track continues.

From today's Daily Pennsylvanian: "So at first glance, it seems that there are two good teams - Harvard and Princeton - three mediocre teams in Penn, Yale and Columbia, and three bad teams - Brown, Cornell and Dartmouth." Discuss among yourselves. ...

From today's Columbia Spectator: "If the Big Green is to pull off the upset, its rushing defense must once again step up and stop the Elis' biggest offensive threat, sophomore running back and Ivy offensive player of the week, Mike McLeod."

The Yale Daily takes an in-depth look at why teams and athletes need to take care before posting photos on the web. Bulldogs football coach Jack Siedlecki: "I know that many coaches, including myself, have talked to their players about not having anything on their personal sites that would embarrass our football program,"
