HANOVER -- The final Dartmouth practice period many afternoons is the two-minute drill, often pitting the first offense against the second defense, and then the second offense against the first defense.
Wednesday offered something a little less routine: the first offense against the first defense.
A drill that had both units stoked ended abruptly when safety Ian Wilson made a quick break on the ball and picked off a Mike Fritz pass to the left sideline around the 40-yard line (going in) with just under one minute remaining on the clock.
At that point, Teevens had the option of starting the drill over, of course. He didn't for at least one good reason.
