Listen Up

If you are out of town (or even if you are in town), don't have access to a computer but do have access to Sirius radio, you can pick up the play-by-play for a couple of Dartmouth football games this fall. The Sept. 29 Ivy League opener against Penn will be carried by the satellite provider as will the Oct. 30 game against Columbia. The full Sirius schedule:

Sept. 15 - Lafayette at Penn, 6 p.m.
Sept. 22 -Brown at Harvard, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 29 - Penn at Dartmouth, 12:30 p.m.
Oct. 6 - Hampton at Princeton, 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 13 - Penn at Columbia, 1:30 p.m.
Oct. 20 - Columbia at Dartmouth, 12:30 p.m.
Oct. 26 (Friday) - Cornell at Princeton, 7 p.m.
Oct. 27 - Yale at Columbia, 12:30 p.m.
Nov. 3 - Princeton at Penn, Noon
Nov. 10 - Columbia at Cornell, 1 p.m.
Nov. 17 - Harvard at Yale, Noon

Penn will have four games on the satellite network with Princeton and Columbia on three times apiece. Each of the other schools will be on twice except for Brown, which will have just one game carried.

Additionally, the Nov. 3 game against Cornell will be televised on the YES Network. Also on YES this fall are the Yale at Penn game on Oct. 20 and the Nov. 10 Yale at Princeton game.

A promising 5-9, 200-pound running back from Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Mass., is looking at a number of schools, including Dartmouth. (link)

New Hampshire has dropped to No. 12 in the new Sports Network FCS poll. Other Dartmouth opponents: No. 21 Yale, No. 28 Princeton, No. 49 Holy Cross, No. 55 Harvard, No. 56 Colgate.
