NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Dartmouth football team that plays at Yale Saturday is different from other Big Green teams of the last decade in a lot of small ways.
And it’s different in one humongous way.
For the first time since 1997, Dartmouth enters the game 1-0 in the Ivy League instead of 0-1.
That may not sound like much, but in a conference where losing two games pretty much means someone else is going to win the championship, the matchup with Yale -- also 1-0 in the league -- is “wicked” huge as they say in Northern New England.
