Frosh Feed

Dartmouth's freshman football players enjoyed a dinner with their families at the start of camp.

The Cornell Daily Sun has a quick look at Big Red quarterback Nathan Ford.

Chuck at Lehigh Football Nation tells it like it was regarding Colgate's season-opening defeat by Stony Brook. Of Dartmouth's first-game opponent, he writes:

Speaking of tough openers, Holy Cross certainly has one against Massachusetts. The Crusaders' game notes are here.

The Sports Network's new FCS poll is up and Appalachian State retains the top spot.

The sky diver delivering the game ball for the North Carolina-McNeese State opener's timing was perfect. Geography was a little off, however, as the parachutist landed a few miles away amid the very surprised Duke and James Madison teams in Durham. There's a story here.

First double sessions are today. Check Green Alert premium in early afternoon for a report on the first session and come back tonight for a recap of the late session.
