Our final day in Colorado was a time for contemplation ... and a visit to the Denver zoo. Monday means a 4 a.m. wakeup call and a flight back to New England via Chicago. We'd had a great time in a truly wonderful state.
The Division I Director's Cup standings (for all-around athletic success) are in and the Ivy League schools finished this way:
40. Princeton
59. Cornell
70. Yale
73. Harvard
86. Dartmouth
89. Penn
109. Brown
139. Columbia
The top five were:
1. Stanford
2. North Carolina
3. Florida
4. USC
5. Michigan
Among Dartmouth football opponents, New Hampshire finished 78th overall and Colgate 173rd. Holy Cross was not among the 272 schools ranked.
(Penn State finished 19th ;-)
