On Yale and Princeton's Strong Showing

The Daily Dartmouth has a preview of the Yale game that includes this quote from quarteback Alex Jenny:
“We’re pretty resilient and a tough-minded group. That’s biggest change from this year to last year. There’s this kind of an attitude this year that there is no reason that we can’t come back. We could have won last weekend but everyone’s excited to go and play another week.”
The Yale Daily says with some certainty that Brook Hart will start at quarterback for Yale for the first time over Nebraska transfer Patrick Witt. Time will tell.

The Daily Pennsylvanian writes of the game with Yale:
Currently riding a 15-game losing streak after a 30-24 loss to Penn at home Saturday, the Big Green (0-3, 0-1) will probably get their best shot until the last week of the year to break the streak when they face Yale (1-2, 0-1) tomorrow.
That bit about the "best shot until the last week of the year," may not be accurate. Given how Princeton played last night, there may be a few games that are better shots. Princeton outgained Colgate, 358 yards to 318 yards, limited the Raiders to just 7-for-23 passing and to a season-low rushing total during regulation before dropping a 21-14 decision in double overtime. Story and box score here.

The Daily Princetonian has a game story that includes this quote from coach Roger Hughes:
"With all the adversity we had, I’m really proud of how our kids played tonight. If we can play like that, we have a chance to win every game.”
The Sports Network story, which says Colgate "limited" Princeton to 168 yards rushing, includes this quote from Raiders quarterback Greg Sullivan:
"Losing is a habit, but winning is a habit, too. This win does a lot for us. I feel like we're ready for conference."
