Wrapping Up Harvard

The Daily Dartmouth has a story on Saturday's loss at Harvard that includes this note on sophomore tailback Nick Schwieger, who broke the index finger on his right hand against the Crimson:
Schwieger is out for the season and “may require surgery,” co-captain Pete Pidermann ’10 said in an interview with The Dartmouth on Sunday.
Schwieger, by the way, had the best single-game performance by any fall sports athlete at Dartmouth when he ran for 242 yards against Columbia according to a power ranking in the Daily D.

The Harvard Crimson has three stories out of Saturday's game. There's a notes column, there is a game story and there is a piece on Harvard's special teams problems against Dartmouth.

Next on tap for Dartmouth is a date with 2-5 Cornell, which opened with wins over Bucknell (33-9) and at Yale (14-12) before losing:
  • at Colgate (45-23)
  • to Harvard (28-10)
  • to Fordham (39-27)
  • to Brown (34-14)
  • at Princeton (17-13)
The Cornell Daily Sun has a story about Saturday's loss at Princeton running the Big Red's losing streak to five games.
