From the usually reliable FootballScoop.com:
Cornell: We hear Cornell has interest in Nebraska volunteer assistant, Joe Moglia. Moglia is the former CEO of TD Ameritrade. As yesterday's blog noted, Moglia covets a Division I head coaching opportunity and there are just a handful of positions left open, including Cornell and Bucknell. The Sports Network has a list of openings that doesn't yet include Cornell.
And finally, can someone please explain why it was when I filled out my bracket I picked Michigan State over Texas Tech in last night's Alamo Bowl? I was leading a serious pool until that boneheaded call.
And finally II, that certain Hanover High senior ran the 600 for the first time in yesterday's meet at Leverone Field House and won her race by beating the state championships qualifying time for almost four seconds. She's still working her way back in distances but has done well in the shorter races. The Dartmouth Relays are this week and she is seeded 11th of 65 runners in the seeded section. That race will feature competitors from New York, New Jersey, the New England states, Ontario and Quebec.
