The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Abuhoff tied for the Ivy League lead with 14 passes defended and three interceptions while making the All-Ivy honorable mention team as a sophomore. He had 41 tackles (four for a loss with one sack), forced two fumbles, returned a defensive extra point against Colgate and blocked a field goal against Columbia. He was chosen to the All-New England FCS team as a return specialist after finishing 18th in the country in kick return average at 25.3 yards per attempt. He was one return away from qualifying for the top-25 nationally in punt returns.
Princeton linebacker Steve Cody was named to the CDS second All-America team. Joining Abuhoff on the honorable mention squad are Brown quarterback Kyle Newhall-Caballero, Harvard safety Collin Zych and kick returner Garry Coles from new opponent Sacred Heart.
Hard to believe that Matt Szczur – the all-everything standout who led Villanova to the national championship last year – made only the honorable mention team as a wide receiver and kick returner.

When Dartmouth football held a bone marrow drive last month the goal, of course, was to save lives. For a look at someone whose life could be saved if a match is found, check out an NHL Fanhouse story on Yale hockey player Mandi Schwartz. Her impact on teammates, friends and the Yale family becomes clear when you look at Yale page encouraging people to Become Mandi's Hero.*
