In case you don't know about Club Trillion, it was started by a deep-bench player on the Ohio State basketball team named Mark Titus, and at times has me laughing out loud. Check out this column Titus wrote on his battles with the Ohio State compliance office.

The Daily Pennsylvanian writes about Penn losing All-Ivy tailback Lyle Marsh to an arm injury against Villanova. Headline: No Marsh, no problem for Quakers. On Monday the DP wrote a story about two Penn running backs who are now playing defense because of a) a shortage of defensive backs and b) a plethora of running backs. (Today's story on the Marsh injury suggests there is always the possibility that one or the other might move back across the line if needed.)

After doing an interview yesterday at Floren Varsity House I was rounding a corner of Leverone Field House and spotted a familiar face coming the other way. It was former defensive back Mike Ribero '06, in town doing corporate recruiting. He said he was on his way to Floren to see if any football players might be interested in learning more about his San Francisco-based financial services firm.*
That Certain Hanover High Junior was set to play in the New Hampshire state junior varsity golf championships today before rain shifted the match to tomorrow. The defending state champions are undefeated again this year. ... That Certain Hanover High Grad (making that link was kinda fun ;-) has volunteered for the Big Green Readers, and expected to be at a Lebanon elementary school today. She is also involved in tutoring a local high schooler while still finding the time for running and a work-study job.*
It's back to practice this afternoon under dubious skies. There will be a full practice report tonight on Big Green Alert Premium. If you haven't yet signed up, there's still time before the first Ivy League game Saturday at Penn. As always, BGA will be there with full coverage the night of the game.
