"(Ticknor) has got a lot of speed, and he's going to be a huge help in our running game,'' said (coach Kevin) McDonald. "He's going to (Dartmouth) and he can really run for both power and for speed.Not sure about the relationship – if there is one – but there's a Ben Ticknor from Milton, Mass., who played center at Harvard from 1928-30 and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. And Ticknor is not an unfamiliar name at Dartmouth. Estey Ticknor '85 was a women's ice hockey player whose name is still all over the Big Green record book.
