Early Admit Positionally

Yale's Portal 31 blog has a list of 12 early admits in the Bulldog Class of 2015. The breakdown:

4 offensive linemen
1 offensive lineman/defensive lineman
1 defensive lineman
1 defensive end
1 defensive end/linebacker
1 defensive back
1 running back/linebacker
1 running back
1 quarterback

Dartmouth's early admission recruits:

3 offensive linemen
2 quarterbacks
1 defensive lineman
1 running back
1 corner
1 punter/placekicker

(Several of Dartmouth's recruits could have slashes with another position after their name but they are listed at the position they will likely play as practice starts in August.)

For what it is worth, word is that there is an unusually abundant group of academically qualified offensive linemen out there this year. It will be interesting to see if all of the Ivy League schools stock up.

No idea if these are all early admits, but Brown Bear Blogger has a list of commitments for the Bears that shapes up this way so far:

3 defensive backs
2 quarterbacks
1 running back
1 defensive end
1 tight end

A Columbia Roar Lions Roar posting in the week before Christmas featured a "very unofficial" list of publicly announced recruits for the Lions and it had:

1 quarterback
1 offensive lineman
1 defensive lineman
1 linebacker
1 wide receiver
