Speedy QB Chooses Green

Bartlesville, Oklahoma quarterback Kirby Schoenthaler has committed to Dartmouth according to Tulsa World. According to the paper, Schoenthaler – who has been timed at 4.4 in the 40 – also had interest from Army, Navy and Brown.

From the story:
The 6-foot, 184-pound dual-threat QB was one of the state's top passers as a four-year starter and led the Bruins to their first back-to-back winning seasons since 1991-92. He passed for 102 touchdowns and nearly 10,000 yards in his high school career.
But Dartmouth likely will use him as an H-back or receiver because of his size and speed. He has been clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.4 seconds.

"They said I can try to play quarterback, receiver or defensive back," Schoenthaler said. "Now they see me as a slot receiver."
