Ivy Disappointment

Tough story out of the Tampa area about a fullback who had expected to officially commit to Princeton today. TampaBayOnline writes about Kyle Wilcox getting the news from Princeton at the 11th hour that something had changed.

Wilcox said he views the situation as "one door closing, another one opening." He also said he is the type of person to want "to prove people wrong" by trying even harder to succeed.

Wilcox had also considered Northwestern University but the school never made an offer. He is hoping to apply at another Ivy League school, or possibly attempt to walk on to a football program at a larger school.
