Please keep Dartmouth sophomore Miles Gay in your thoughts and prayers. The lastest word from Spain is that the infection in his lungs is not responding to antibiotics and it appears he will need surgery to clean out the pleural cavity of his lungs. His mother is now with him in Barcelona.

Check out this quick video of former Dartmouth corner John Manning '08 showing pretty good "ups" for a 5-foot-9 guy while throwing down a two-hand slam. Manning is a first-year medical student at the University of Washington.

After dropping the first two games of a three-game set against Central Florida, the Dartmouth baseball team handed the Knights just their second loss in 11 games with an 8-6 verdict in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader. Central Florida was knocking on the door of the Top 25 in the last USA Today poll.

Another sign that it can be done: Harvard men's basketball knocked off Princeton to win at least share of the Ivy League title last night. (Story) It's the first Ivy championship ever for the Crimson. Should Penn beat the Tigers Tuesday in the final Ivy game of the year, Harvard will go to the NCAA's for the first time since 1946 and the second time ever. If Princeton defeats Penn, the Crimson and Tigers will play off for the Ivy League's NCAA bid.

The NCAA draw for women's ice hockey is tonight at 6:30. Eight teams are selected and Dartmouth now sits eighth in the critical Pairwise rankings which, USCHO writes, "attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I women's hockey tournament."
