The first attempt at the Green Alert podcast has now been posted. No subscription is necessary to listen to this 25-minute look at Dartmouth's 10 opponents this fall. As the note with the podcast points out, this is the first attempt at doing something like this and there will be improvement (hopefully ;-) with each successive edition. Go ahead and give a listen.
Editor's Note: I just listened to part of the first podcast again and that's not much fun when you are a writer not a talker. I heard myself referring to former Columbia standout Alex Gross as Andrew, which bugs me to no end. I'm sure there are other stumbles as well.

Hard-nosed Dartmouth defensive back JB Andreassi gets the following mention in Long Island's Massapequa Patch, reprinted as is:
Mike Stackpole, the Commissioner of the Massapequa Mustangs, was in attendance along with former and current college football players such as Steve Sofia of the University of Hofstra, Mike Sheridan of Georgia Tech University and J.B. Andrease, currently of Dartmouth University.

The first game clip in this Yale weight training video is from the Bulldogs' game with Dartmouth.

And finally, a very happy anniversary to the ever-patient Mrs. BGA for putting up with That Certain Blogger for all these years, and for believing he could actually make a go of this Big Green Alert idea. Who knows? Some year he actually may ;-)
