Sacred Heart's game notes have been posted for Saturday's Homecoming game at Campus Field. Dartmouth has played only one game and Sacred Heart just two which is one reason why the first stat in the Tale of the Tape grabs your attention:Sacred Heart................................Dartmouth
6.5........................Points............... 37.0.
If the notes are to be believed, the Pioneers will be starting redshirt sophomore Luke Wischnowski at quarterback after Tim Little went 16-for-41 for 157 yards with one interception in last week's 26-6 loss to Bryant. Wischnowski was 15-for-29 for 136 yards with one interception the prior week in a 20-7 loss to Marist.
Sacred Heart is 8-3 all-time in Homecoming games since moving to the FCS in 1999 and has never lost consecutive Homecoming games. The Pioneers fell to Central Connecticut last year, 24-14.
Coach Paul Gorham on Dartmouth as quoted in the game notes:
“They are a very sound football team with a lot of experience. Certainly on defense they have a lot of juniors and seniors starting. They also have a dynamic running back along the lines of the kid we played last weekend. We are going to have to play very well, clean some things up on our end, and stay in the game to try and win it in the fourth quarter."Nick Schwieger, the "dynamic" running back in question, did not play against Sacred Heart last year.

Harvard starting a freshman offensive lineman? Really? Harvard? Believe it. The Crimson has a story.•
And finally, I long regretted when I was studying journalism at Penn State not standing to applaud and thank the best professor I ever had – as an undergrad or grad student – who was retiring at the conclusion of our last class. I thought about that after the last of the many basketball games I covered with Pete Carril as the Princeton head coach and made it a point to thank him after that final game. With the Dartmouth-Colgate football series now over and no additional games between the teams on the horizon, I wish I'd thought to have a few words with Raider coach Dick Biddle after the press conference. Like Carril, Biddle can come across as a little crusty, but I've always enjoyed talking with him and have tremendous respect for what he's accomplished in Hamilton.
