Since the start of formal Ivy League play in 1956, Dartmouth has posted 45 shutouts in conference play and been shut out 14 times. Here's the breakdown:
Dartmouth Shutouts
Columbia - 13
Penn - 9

Yale - 3
Princeton - 2
Shutouts of Dartmouth

Not surprisingly, given the numbers above, the last shutout by Dartmouth was against Columbia and the last shutout of Dartmouth was by Yale. Both occurred last fall.

Terrific news regarding Princeton freshman Chuck Dibilio who was released from the hospital yesterday after suffering a stroke last Thursday night. The Daily Princetonian has a story.Dibilio's athletic future hasn't really been mentioned in media reports, and rightfully so given what the star running back has been through. But his father brought the subject up in a story posted on the Express-Times site and his outlook is optimistic. Chuck Dibilio Sr., told the paper:
"The neurosurgeon said he'd be on Aspirin the rest of his life. It's good he's not on a big dose of blood thinners like Coumadin the rest of his life because if he goes on that, he won't be able to play anymore contact sports. With Aspirin, he can play sports again. He has to take one a day."

Saw a mention of this on TigerBlog and thought it worth checking out. Villanova University now has an outside company monitoring the use of social media by its athletes. NBC10 TV in Philadelphia has a story and video report on its website. What think you?•
Leaving Spaulding Auditorium at the Hopkins Center after watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid last night, That Certain Hanover High Senior said, "That's one of my favorite movies ever." Ditto. Now I can't wait until they show The Sting ;-)
