An Express-Times column out of the Lehigh Valley suggests that the the addition of scholarships in the Patriot League is, in some ways, little more than a bookkeeping ploy. From the story:The league won’t be better or worse for it because essentially the same amount of money is being spent on players, regardless of how you package it.To be completely honest, I'm not sure exactly where the columnist stands on scholarships or the idea of redshirting, which he also brings up.
