And The 2012 Favorite Is . . .

Spring football practice hasn't even started and The Sports Network has annointed Harvard as the team to beat in the Ivy League in 2012. In his column Craig Haley picks the early favorites in each FCS conference.

Fresh off an impressive sweep at St. Lawrence the ninth-seeded Dartmouth men's ice hockey team (13-14-4) will play at second-seeded Cornell (15-7-7) Friday and Saturday nights with a game three against the Big Red Sunday if necessary. The Big Red had two one-goal wins over Dartmouth this winter. The winner of the ECAC Quarterfinal series goes on to the Semis at Boardwalk Hall in the hockey hotbed (?) of Atlantic City.

A heart-breaking loss in the ninth inning for the Dartmouth baseball team yesterday at No. 13 LSU.

The Daily Dartmouth reports the college is charging Sigma Alpha Epsilon with "hazing violations."
