Closing Out Nonconference Play

The Dartmouth's preview of Saturday's game against Sacred Heart includes this from linebacker Garrett Wymore:
"We’re really embarrassed with the way we performed last year, and watching the film and some of the mistakes we made, it was one of those situations where we thought we beat ourselves."
Sacred Heart's game notes have finally been posted here.
With Dartmouth looking to close out a 3-0 nonconference season for the second time in three years, credit to The Sports Network for uncovering these numbers from the NCAA showing the nonconference win percentage for the FCS leagues:

SoCon: 13-8 (.619)
Missouri Valley, 18-12 (.600)
CAA: 17-13 (.567)
Ivy: 11-9 (.550)
OVC: 14-12 (.538)
Patriot: 16-14 (.533) - Holy Cross
Big Sky: 17-16 (.525)
Southland: 13-15 (.464)
Big South: 10-21 (.323)
MEAC: 9-20 (.310)
NEC: 7-16 (.304) - Sacred Heart
Pioneer: 9-21 (.300) - Butler
SWAC: 3-14 (.176)
Dartmouth has received a commitment from kicker/punter Alex Gakenheimer of Charlotte Country Day School. On his NCSA page he writes:
My goal wherever I kick is to eventually earn duties in all three disciplines; field goals, kick-offs, and punts.
Gakenheimer's page on the Chris Sailer Kicking site can be found here and there's a video interview with him here where he talks not about Dartmouth but about the recruiting process.
And finally this from the Harvard Crimson:
On the heels of a record-breaking basketball season and in the midst of a dominant run for Crimson football, Harvard will replace its undersized basketball stadium and renovate the nation’s oldest football stadium.
Interesting timing on that announcement, for sure.
