Princeton 19, Brown 0
The Tigers, given up for dead by many after going 1-9 and 1-9 the last two years before starting 0-2 this fall, won their third in a row by ending Brown's Ivy League record of 162 games without being shut out. The Bears clearly miss injured rushing leader Spiro Theodosi.
Penn 24, Columbia 20
Billy Ragone did it again, tossing his second TD pass of the fourth quarter with 50 seconds remaining and Columbia's bid to pull out the win died on the Quakers' 2 on the last play of the game.
Cornell 41, Monmouth 38
When it's Cornell it's probably not a surprise that the QB passed for 523 yards. The huge surprise is that it wasn't Jeff Mathews, out with a neck injury. Seldom-used Chris Amrhein had the big day with help from Luke Tasker, who caught 11 passes for 280 yards.
Lafayette 20, Yale 10
The return of Tyler Varga, who ran for 100 yards, wasn't enough for Yale which got 23-of-34 passing from Eric Williams but also four more interceptions from the freshman.
Harvard 35, Bucknell 7
Ho hum. Bucknell has one of the better defenses around but Harvard has Colton Chapple, who passed for 189 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 120 yards and two scores.
Colgate 51, Holy Cross 35
Speaking of QB's who can do it all, Colgate's Gavin McCarney ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 166 and one TD. Jordan McCord added 181 yards on the ground as the Cross gave up 604 yards of offense.
Butler 17, Marist 14
Who'd have thunk that the win over Butler might be Dartmouth's most impressive to date? The Bulldogs improved to 5-2 thanks to a big game from Matt Lancaster who threw for 241 yards and ran for 73 more.
