Numbers, We Have Numbers

The Ivy League's weekly football release has been posted here. From those notes:
Only twice this season has Dartmouth had a lead at halftime (vs. Butler and at Cornell). Something has clicked for the Big Green after intermission as the team has outscored its opponents in the third quarter by a 49-14 margin and almost doubled them up in the second half overall (103-59).
How dominant (the loss to Princeton aside) has Harvard been this year? From the Harvard Crimson Sports Blog:
19: Number of points Harvard must average over its last two games to tie the Crimson record for most points scored in a modern era season. Harvard set the record last year with 382 points.
+229: The Crimson’s current point-differential. Harvard’s largest point differential of the modern era is +219 from 2011.
What would be fun would be to see a Harvard-Colgate game. Harvard is averaging 42.4 points per game while Colgate is averaging 41.9.

In case you missed it, while Harvard was ringing up 69 points against Columbia Saturday, Colgate was piling up 755 yards of offense in a 65-41 win over Lafayette. A few numbers from that game:

228 - yards rushing by Colgate quarterback Gavin McCarney

203 - yards rushing by Colgate tailback Jordan McCord
531 - yards rushing by Colgate as a team
10.6 - average gain per play by Colgate offense
10.4 - average gain per play by Lafayette offense
