Here are the numbers he worked up for third-down passing by the duo compared to the numbers he compiled for Cornell all-everything Jeff Mathews and Brown's Patrick Donnelly:
• Park 30-49 (61.2 percent), 340 yards, 6.9 yards per attempt, 42.8 percent resulted in first downs
• Williams 18-26 (69.2), 269 yards, 10.3 yards per attempt, 53.8 percent resulted in first downs
• Mathews 42-85 (49.4), 555 yards, 6.5 yards per attempt, 32.9 percent resulted in first downs
• Donnelly 50-68 (56.8), 526 yards, 5.9 yards per attempt, 35.2 percent resulted in first downs
Jake's conclusion:
If anyone doubts how good Dartmouth can be in 2013 with both of these QB's returning, I don't see why. They're both talented and showed real poise in the clutch.Roar Lions will continue its look at third-down passing efficiency at the rest of the Ivies this week. Check out Jake's findings here.

Welcome to July! It's about as far away as it can be to still be able to say this, but preseason camp for Ivy League football teams begins next month.
And speaking of months, this was the second-wettest June since they began record keeping up in Burlington, Vt., with almost triple the usual amount of rain. For what it's worth, there are afternoon thunder showers in the forecast today through Friday. . . .

And to our friends up north, Happy Canada Day! (If you have a little extra time when you are in town, Montreal is an easy day trip up and back. Quebec City is more of a haul, but well worth a visit ;-)
