Princeton coach Bob Surace said in his preseason remarks that he'd occasionally play more than one quarterback at a time, and he's as good as his word. From TigerBlog:
If you consider the Princeton quarterback depth chart to go Connor Michelsen first, Quinn Epperly second and Kedric Bostic third, then this is how Princeton's opening possession of its 42-26 win over Lafayette Saturday went:
Play No. 1 - reverse to the third-string quarterback
Play No. 2 - completion from the second string quarterback to the first-string quarterback
Green Alert Take: When Dartmouth had Greg Patton and Timmy McManus along with Conner Kempe we kept waiting to see the Big Green employ that same kind of trickeration with the three once-and-former QBs.
If you are curious about this week's opponent, check out the Bucknell sports information story on the Bison's 51-27 loss last week to Holy Cross and a story on the same game freelanced for the Worcester Telegram that included this:
Bucknell (1-4, 0-2) came into the game ranked last in the Patriot League in almost every offensive category. In its previous game, a 31-7 loss to Lafayette, the Bison managed only 80 yards. Against Holy Cross, Bucknell piled up a season-high 423 yards.
