Game Day

Headed off to Brown while it's still dark so we can grab breakfast at a very special place we discovered several years ago (link) and still get to Providence early enough to spend a little time with one of my oldest friends. How long have we known each other? He used to tell people we became friends after he admired my baseball glove when it was dangling from the handlebars on my three-speed bicycle ;-)

Little surprise that he ended up working at ESPN and now is a high-ranking official at an athletic conference.

The forecast for Providence is ridiculous for Week 9 with the temperature closing in on 60 degrees. Quite a change from what we had at practice earlier in the week.
