Memorial Field may not be included in the conversation of historic Ivy League football stadiums, but it deserves to be. With a façade untouched since 1923, the stadium retains its original charm, yet features an improved interior that makes for a pleasant experience. However, it is the setting that makes Dartmouth football stand out, as the brilliant fall colors set the scene for a terrific place to sit back and enjoy a game.Find the Stadium Journey review of Memorial Field here.
I did find this comment in the inro curious:

For a look at Dartmouth's next opponent, check out the Brown-Yale game story in the Brown Daily Herald. Or you can read about the same game from the Yale Daily News perspective. The latter story begins this way:Down to its fourth-string quarterback, and with just one more incompletion than interception in the second half, the Yale football team seemed to be out of hope as its contest against Brown wound down.
But one last drive led by Logan Scott ’14 brought the Bulldogs to the edge of field goal range, and Deon Randall ’15 took a third and ten handoff 32 yards to the house, electrifying the crowd at the Yale Bowl and delivering a stunning 24–17 win for the Elis.

From a story in The Dartmouth about Brad Ausmus' 91 being hired as manager of the Detroit Tigers:“Having a Dartmouth alum hired as the manager of the Detroit Tigers is great for Dartmouth’s baseball program,” Dustin Selzer ’14 said. “One of the major effects of the Brad Ausmus hiring is that it will bring more attention to the program, which is always a good thing. Also, I’m sure Coach Whalen will love having that in his bag of tricks when he’s on the road recruiting.”

Another dusting of snow last night on top of some "mixed precipitation" here on the shoulder of Moose Mountain has made our driveway treacherous this morning. Just going out to get the paper down at the road was an adventure ;-)
