An Omen?

I wish I could take credit for this shot of a double rainbow over Moose Mountain, but give the nod to Dave Harrison, a letterman on Coach Buddy Teevens 1990 and '91 Ivy League championship teams.
The forecast for Green & White spring football at Memorial Field today was dicey early in the week and got better as today drew closer. It's gorgeous up here on the shoulder of Moose Mountain right now but we could have a quick sprinkle at 1 if the forecasters have it right.

The team is supposed to be on the field at 10 with action slated to being shortly thereafter. As noted on BGA Premium, the Big Green will not be tackling.

Check BGA tonight for statistics and a full report on the action as well as the announcement of captains and spring award winners.
The Dartmouth softball team will host a doubleheader against Penn in the Ivy League Championship Series this afternoon at 1. If you are in town for football and want to take a look, the softball stadium is behind the football practice field across the road from Leverone Field House. Admission is free. Should the teams split, they will play again tomorrow. The Dartmouth baseball team also plays Sunday in a one-game playoff for the Red Rolfe Division championship here in Hanover.
