Game Time(s)

Game times have been posted for Dartmouth's home contests this fall and there are no surprises:

  • Sept. 20 vs. Central Connecticut State – 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 4 vs Penn – 1:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 18 vs. Holy Cross (Homecoming) – 1:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 1 vs. Harvard – 1:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 15 vs. Brown – 1:30 p.m.

Notes – Once again, Dartmouth will be alternating home and away games all season...This will be the third year in a row that the Big Green opens the home season with a night game (2012 - Butler, 2013 - Holy Cross)...Barring a change this will be the first Harvard game to be played in early afternoon since 2010...The Holy Cross game is being played in Hanover for the second year in a row.

Senior Robbie Anthony hasn't just won letters as a wide receiver at Dartmouth. Turns out, he's pretty good at making them as well. Anthony, who caught 16 passes last fall and has been a solid contributor to the rugby team this spring, is a talented artist who has started a business crafting paper letters. Check out his work at the Anthony Arts page.
Add Brown wide receiver Tellef Lundevall to the list of Ivy League players getting an NFL look. The Ivy League's seventh-leading career receiver with 216 catches, has earned an invitation to the Tennessee Titans rookie camp.
Dartmouth softball's first trip to the NCAA Tournament ended with a pair of 8-0 losses. The Big Green fell to San Diego State last evening on ESPNU after losing to Arizona State in its NCAA Tournament debut. (LINK)

As for the football team . . . yup . . . just watching.
The $25 million project rebuilding the University of New Hampshire football stadium (LINK)  isn't slated to be finished until late 2015, but some of the work has begun on the replacement of the general admission stands and re-orientation of the concrete stadium seating. That work, on what is currently the home stands, and the installation of lights should be done in time for Dartmouth's game at UNH on Sept. 27.

Here's some video of what's been happening in Durham of late:
