You Make The Call

For what it's worth, given that the improvement in digital streaming technology has led to reviews in hockey and basketball, don't be surprised if football joins the parade before long.
The Dartmouth covers the Big Green's win over Central Connecticut State HERE.
From The Sports Network:
Starting the season way after the rest of the FCS was evident with the play of Ivy League teams, who struggled to a 3-5 record. The winners were Harvard (against Holy Cross), Yale (Lehigh) and Dartmouth (Central Connecticut State), and all three trailed in the second half of their games.
There's a little more if you click through.

Green Alert Take: Earth to Ivy presidents, Earth to Ivy presidents, do you read me?

And now, what you are all waiting for. This is straight from the sponsor, who is running different contests before each of Dartmouth's five home games:
The P.A. announcer at the game and the Valley News account of the game reported 7,234 as the attendance, but the official Dartmouth game notes on its athletic website reported 7,324.
Regardless, the winner of NextTitle18!'s inaugural 2014 edition of Guess The Attendance contest was Mr. Leo Appel, with a guesstimate of 6,450 (thanks for shorting the team, Leo!).  The next four closest guesses were 8,212 (Erica, so close!), 8,220, 8,300 and 8,336 (you four know who you are).
The high estimate was 11,227 and the low estimate was 4,200 (really, Jack?).
Congratulations, Leo! A $100 gift certificate to Pine Restaurant at the Hanover Inn is on its way to you.
Stay tuned to these BGA precincts for a variation to the attendance theme as our next contest is unveiled sometime before the next home game versus Penn in 2 weeks.
Go Big Green!
Tonight on BGA Premium: The Optimist and The Pessimist stop by.
And finally, the order we put in for clear blue skies for the BGA Moose Mountain hike got lost in the shuffle but the view was still pretty impressive at the top for first-timers. We had a chance to have a bit of a Q&A with three "thru-hikers" on their way from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian Trail, and Dartmouth's Class of '66 Lodge was open, so all-in-all it was a pretty good day, capped by the Big Green's win over Central Connecticut.

Here's a picture of the group at the top:
