Green Alert Take: You know how you pour that expensive Vermont maple syrup on your pancakes and a couple of minutes later you wonder where it went? The guess here is that Dartmouth followers who were at the Bowl last month are wondering where the syrup went ;-)
Last week this space brought you a link about a lineman who took a recruiting trip to Dartmouth after committing to Notre Dame. CLICK HERE and scroll down to read about Vito Penza of Youngstown, Ohio, who is intrigued by Dartmouth after having been offered a walk-on spot by Ohio State.

Described as "one of the most underrated prospects in the state of Ohio," he says:
"I have not been on any visits, but I would like to take an Ohio State and Dartmouth visit for sure, but I haven't really pinned down any date. Dartmouth is definitely sticking out to me. Also Ohio State. Having them come out of the blue is pretty special."

That Certain Golden Retriever Puppy experienced his first snow last night and after a few tentative steps and sniffs he found it to his liking. I'm sure he's wondering what happened to the snowball he brought inside.
