Dartmouth-bound offensive line twins Patrick and John Kilcommons are featured in a story out of Chicago about how a huge O-line paved the way for Nazareth Academy to win a state championship with a 14-0 record.
From the story:
(Patrick) Kilcommons and his twin brother John ended their high school careers by playing side-by-side for the state championship. The twins from Stickney both were born May 2, 1997, while 6-3, 285-pound guard Patrick is one minute older than 6-4, 300-pound tackle John.
During the season, the twins verbally committed to continuing playing football together at Dartmouth.
They made up the right side of a devastating offensive line that averaged 6-3, 285 pounds. John Shutack played left tackle, Michael Owens was at left guard and John Brunory was the center. The story notes that in the second half of the state championship game the Roadrunners called 33 consecutive running plays.
