A thread on a message board listing NCAA schools scheduling football games against the College of Faith in 2015 included a link to a story in TampaBay.com from last fall about the University of Faith football program. (The College of Faith and University of Faith are related.) It's a riveting story that you don't want to miss.

NPR did a piece on the College of Faith last year with the headline, "Charlotte's College Of Faith Lacks A Campus But Not A Football Team." CLICK HERE to read that story or listen to the report.
So how is this germane to the Ivy League?
Don't expect Ancient Eight teams to schedule any of the variations of the College of Faith, but last year there were just two degrees of separation for one Ivy team. Princeton played Davidson, whose only win in a two-year span came against, you guessed it, the College of Faith, Charlotte. Davidson toppled College of Faith, 56-0, and fell to Princeton, 56-17.
In the fall it will be Dartmouth with three degrees of separation from the College of Faith. The Big Green plays Sacred Heart, which plays Valparaiso, which plays The College of Faith, Arkansas. That school will be fielding its first-ever football team next fall.
Now, before you get your tighty whities twisted in a knot, keep in mind there were the same three degrees of separation last year between Dartmouth and the Citrus Bowl champion. The Big Green played New Hampshire, which played Toledo, which played Missouri.
Now go back and read that story from TampaBay.com. As I said, it's riveting stuff.
