Not Time . . . Yet

Still no game times for home Dartmouth football games but with Brown announcing its schedule we can piece together four of the five road games.

The Sept. 19 game at Georgetown will kick off at noon.

The Oct. 3 game at Penn is the outlier with no announcement yet.

The Oct. 17 game at Central Connecticut is set for noon.

The Oct. 31 game at Harvard has been moved to Friday night, Oct. 30 at 7:30, per the Harvard ticket office website.

The Nov. 14 game at brown is set for 12:30 p.m.

There's a chance times for the Dartmouth home games will be released next week. The delay at Dartmouth, as with many schools across the country, has been a result of juggling the TV schedule.
Back on June 30 I posted a picture of the odometer from our 1984 VW Westfalia camper van hitting 111,111 and I threatened that a similar posting was imminent. It took only a couple more weeks and our Honda CRV has reached a milestone that we haven't hit with a car previously:

True story. My beloved Mitsubishi Expo (Nicknamed Vlad after Vladimir Guerrero, another old Expo ;-) got into the 190,000 range and I had my eye on the big 200K although it was really hurting at the end. We left it at our regular garage for inspection one day and when I went to pick it up the mechanic had a look on his face that spoke volumes. I said to him, "My goal was to drive it until it died." Without missing a beat he answered, "You made it."
Speaking of the '84 VW bus, we're headed out in a few minutes for a hidden campground on a pond where we will be spending the rest of the day and most of the day tomorrow reading, playing Scrabble and relaxing, so if this site lights up tomorrow it may not be until late in the day. Gotta grab a little vacation when we can!
