At Dartmouth, Bob played football and lacrosse. He was a three-year starter in football and played on two Ivy League championship teams. Bob was a first team All-Ivy halfback on Dartmouth's undefeated 1965 football team which won the Lambert Trophy as the top Division One football team in the East. Additionally, Bob was twice named to the AP and UPI all-New England teams and was an honorable mention All-East selection.

It is that time of year, so there's more news on former Dartmouth assistant coaches.Pete Lembo, who served at Dartmouth from 1994-96 and had terrific runs as a head coach at Lehigh and Elon before going 33-29 in four years at Ball State, is the new assistant head coach at Maryland.
