Needing a pick-me-up after losing at Dartmouth, the New Hampshire football team dug deep into its bag of tricks and had a defensive lineman line up at center and start a two-point conversion play by snapping a one-handed lateral (not through his legs) to a wide receiver. He then ran into the end zone as an eligible receiver to catch a pass against Rhode Island. Apparently the play was in the books for the Dartmouth game, but the Wildcats didn't use it. As of late last week it was not expected that Teevens would be available for the show because this week's Friday night game against Penn means he'll be on the field practicing with the team Monday while the show is airing.
