Boise State Before Boise State?

Why is that posted here? A Football Study Hall story carried by SB Nation under the headline, Game of the Year of the Day, 1970: Dartmouth 10, Yale 0 details the Big Green's 10-0 crushing (read the story) of the Bulldogs before "more than 60,000" at Yale Bowl. (LINK)

This line from the story will bring a smile to a lot of Dartmouth faces:
... Dartmouth was basically the Boise State of the late-1960s, capable of punching up quite a few weight classes but really never getting the opportunity.
Dartmouth joins every Ivy League school, Duke, North Carolina and NC State in "offering" a running back named Jahmir Smith, who last year ran for 2,130 yards and 41 touchdowns. (LINK)
