Incoming Dartmouth running back Zach Bair of New Jersey's Red Bank Catholic High School was the Shore Conference offensive player of the year per Asbury Park Press "People's Choice Award" voting.
The 5-foot-10, 186-pound Bair piled up 1,090 yards on 79 carries (13.8 yards per) along with 15 touchdowns in seven games before being lost to injury. He had 85- and 86-yard touchdown runs in one game last fall. He also had a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown and one receiving score.
