Saturday Stuff

More from the updated Dartmouth football roster. It lists four fifth-year seniors:

Nickel Kyran McKinney-Crudden
Corner Justin Porter
Defensive lineman Rocco Di Leo
Offensive lineman Andrew Yohe
Former Dartmouth tailback Ryder Stone '18 carried a swing pass 13 yards for Montreal and returned a kickoff 11 yards as the Alouettes dropped a CFL game to the Ottawa Redblacks last night, 28-18.

Pressed into service because of an injury former Cornell quarterback Jeff Mathews got the start for the Als and completed 18-of-30 passes for 280 yards and one touchdown without an interception. Montreal is now 1-3.

For a terrific story on Ryder Stone, albeit in French, click HERE. If your French is a little lacking, try opening the link in Chrome and clicking translate. You'll get the gist of the story, which likens Stone's visage to Wes Welker's and says he's earning more playing time, including in the backfield.

The headline, if I've got it right, roughly translates to "A Rookie Solid As a Rock."
Former Dartmouth linebacker Flo Orimolade '17 and the Calgary Stampeders had a bye week and will return to action Thursday against the Redblacks.
