Ryder Stone is part of a Montreal Alouettes "Fan Q&A" video in which he is asked about scoring his first pro touchdown last week. Unfortunately, you'll have to sit through a too-long commercial to watch the video. (LINK)
Stone and the Als may get some decent rating on ESPN2 at 7:30 tonight, with Johnny Manziel getting his first start at quarterback for the CFL team.
Dartmouth quarterback Jack Heneghan gets a brief mention suggesting he might get a few more reps in practice this weekend with the San Francisco 49ers given that C.J. Beathard heading to Canton for his grandfather Bobby Beathard's induction into the NFL Hall of Fame. (LINK)
Speaking of Heneghan, a Hero Sports feature takes a look at the "net worth" of NFL players. While it's pretty interesting reading about what the veterans are making, there's not a whole lot to report about players just trying to make a team. That said, Heneghan's page is HERE and Charlie Miller's is HERE.
According to Hero, Miller's net work "ranks 2029th among active NFL players entering 2018."•
STATS has named its preseason watch list for the Buck Buchanan Award, emblematic of the top defensive player in the FCS. It's curious that Dartmouth linebacker Jack Traynor is the only unanimous selection to the All-Ivy League defensive first team returning this fall but Penn linebacker Nick Miller is the lone Ivy rep on the Buchanan watchlist.
