PRINCETON

Jay Greenberg, who does a terrific job with his site on the Princeton Tigers Football page, tells it like it is:(W)ith the separation that already has occurred this season–every other Ivy already holds two losses–the probability has increased that Saturday’s loser will go home at Thanksgiving without even a share of the title.

Harvard Magazine closes its recap of Saturday’s game with this note that won't necessarily go over well with the folks in crimson, but is absolutely correct:THE REAL GAME, 2018: Let us advance a heretical notion—that this season Harvard-Yale is not The Game in the Ivy League. It is, rather, next Saturday’s contest between undefeated Dartmouth and undefeated Princeton. (Kickoff: 1 P.M. It’s available for streaming on ESPN+.) Having now seen both beat the Crimson by similar margins, which is our pick? We’ll take the Tigers, partly because they’re playing at home (Hanover to Central New Jersey is a fatiguing ride) and partly because their offense has so many weapons, as evidenced by Princeton’s 66-0 massacre of Cornell on Saturday. As terrific as the Big Green’s defense is, we can’t see Dartmouth shutting down Tigers quarterback John Lovett andwide receiver Jesper Horsted. Let’s say Princeton 34, Dartmouth 20. (But I’ve been wrong before.)
