One year from now college football will celebrate the 150th anniversary of what is considered the first game ever played, a Rutgers-Princeton match in 1869. Some football fans with a sense of history were clamoring for a rematch between the schools, which are less than 20 miles apart. They aren't going to play each other next year and that's a shame. And if you are a Princeton fan you are really disappointed they aren't going to play this year ;-)
Princeton is undefeated at 7-0 and ranked No. 88 per Sagarin. Sagarin has Rutgers at No. 141. The 1-7 Scarlet Knights' only win came against 2-6 Texas State.
Princeton has scored 355 points this year and Rutgers 121. Rutgers has given up 270 points and Princeton 64.
